Roar like the Wind

“I’m sorry this exists.”

Is all I could say when having to teach about sexual and physical abuse to children.

I am sorry this exists.

Trusting your Gut.

Your Lion.

When your knees feel weak, lion wants to run. When your gut clenches, you claw. When you want to cry, roar.

This, is your intuition.

With you since the day you were born and will never leave you.

DO NOT silence this.

We leave the room. Outside. Run. Roar.

Their claws were sharpened.

Now let’s draw what your inner lion looks like…

Ms. Rusch..

Yes…

Mine is a Snake. (Another student.. mine was a hybrid… a bunny.. a boat…)

We Know who we are.

Roar.
